I would love a book that starts by telling me how to decide what the right thing for me to do would be. That is the one thing time management books exclude.
So frustrating to read books that only cover the bit once you have a goal. In my experience, finding a goal you want to reach is the hard part. After that, there are tons of helpful people and books. But when you say - I don't really know what direction I want to go, what it is I
really want to do, people are stumped to help you.
I believe that this is one of the reasons people are stuck in jobs they hate - they don't know how to determine what else they could be doing, much less believe in an alternate future.
btw, loving your first book, feels very empowering.
