Well, my ego got all up in arms and snarly at "I choose to be happy". "I choose NOT to be happy" didn't quite fit the bill, but "I DON'T choose to be happy" we can almost live with. ("we" being me and my ego.... I think I'm developing a split personality...


) I think it's even a bit better because it frames happiness as a choice. Although some other thought-patterns are harder to frame this way (the ones focused on more concrete things that don't
seem like present-moment choices).
@richloaguy - Post a link to your thread and I'll check it out! I do that sometimes, just strip it all down to the one-word thing-I-want and repeat on that... "I'm not happy... happy... happy... happy..."
