I disagree - her performance was rough. Biden clearly has been speaking in forum settings much, much longer than Palin, and is a much more sophisticated politician because he's been doing it for so long and is used to taking issues and questions where he wants them. I think 'Slick' comes across in his fluidity of speach, and his visual presence - his hair mostly, which, itself, is slick too. And he had a nice tan going on. If you were to do a movie and cast someone as the 'Slick' politician, it would be Biden, not Palin. She needs some polishing.
