It could be construed that way but I dont think it is fully. Reason being, todays world is different. The fact that she could even be a governor at all let alone a VP pick shows that mind sets are different. Obviously her gender plays a role but its also her demeanor and her vibe that yells out she is not quite experienced enough. Does her gender effect this? Sure, she is pretty and nice to look at and that alone can cause some differing opinions on. Is it sexist? Maybe but not fully.
Its only a natural viewpoint.
