Human weaknesses get overcome with motivation. You might call it IM or whatever, but in the end it's all about motivation. Motivation and a positive attitude get things done. On the small scale and on the bigger scale, like that Angela Bailey. She might attribute it to the LoA but in fact SHE attracted her success herself. Not the 'Universe'. Without HER motivation, without HER hours and hours of hard practice and HER endless training, she wouldn't have been world class. Her belief (whether in herself, the LoA, a God, destiny or whatever) helped her to get the motivation she needed. And that's what got she to the top. And a belief doesn't need to be objectively true to be efficient. You just have to believe in it. But this entity or concept can be anything and is totally individual.
I don't see the supernatural here. 'Only' positive thinking and self-motivation.
And just for the record: I wouldn't have any problem with the LoA if it was defined more accurately and without the superstitious, magical aspects. Because of course you attract things depending on your behavior. But it's not a law like gravity. Because it's that claim that starts all the controversy and the moral problems.
But now I'm debating again, and I wanted to stop doing this ... But since I was explicitely mentioned I had to answer
