Susie is on a distinguished road
Default Psychic when drunk?

Many times when I was in my twenties and going to parties and drinking a lot-- I would sometimes be talking with a person I didn't know well and then just blurt something out about them and it would be true. And what is odd is I would find myself just saying it without thinking about it and the person would look shocked and say, "You're right!" It turned into a party trick where I could accurately "guess" what month a person was born, for example, but whenever I "guessed" there had been no premeditation, I just blurted it out without thinking. Another time an acquaintence told our group that actually the name we knew her by was her middle name, and I just blurted out her real first name without even thinking, and was right.

I never did that sort of thing while sober. I guess maybe in a way being under the influence kind of quiets down the part of my mind that is judging what I'm saying and "predictions" can flow more freely? Or?

Has anyone else experienced this?
