Exactly. I think a lot of peopel still think that IM is positive thinking coupled with action and a properly activated reticular activating system, and it is not. IM enables you to make things happen that have absolutely NOTHING to do with you. It's almost like you stop time, send your soul out of your body into the cosmic consciousness where everything is ONE and you say to everything and everyone in this ONE consciousness "HEY! I need help! I want to speak at a conference! If anyone can help me out, get in touch with me, you know where to find me." and then ZWOOOP you get sucked back into the body and time continues forward, except that some part of the ONE consciousness somewhere now takes action to send you an invitation to help you out.
You, as your own body do nothing except send out the intention and then receive it when it comes back to you. Yes, someone somewhere had to take action to send you the invitation, and that's not "magic" but WHY he wanted to all of a sudden help you exactly when you asked for help is "magical".
