Whenever I get to a higher state of consciousness time can completely stop for me or it slows down to an extreme degree until I pull myself back down into normal human consciousness. So that seems contradictory to me but hey what do I know about higher states of consciousness.

After reading the article I would say resistance surely plays a roll in my higher states of consciousness so that would explain the slowing of time instead of speeding up.
