I am from India. there is one institute named TGF (Tejgyan foundation).. it's a non profit organization which conducts such kind of courses since last 15 to 20 years.. even before the term 'photo reading' was there.. I have completed their 3 months course on memory techniques and speed reading.. also I have video course of Paul Scheele.. I have learned from both of these and also devised some methods from the past experience of what works for me.

My strength is power of visualization..If I visualize the picture I do not forget for very long time.... It's helped me a lot in this area.. My weakness is that I need some kind of trigger to remember..but after that i get fluency in remembering.., anchoring, link techniques, peg system, Visual Mind mapping proved useful here..
Most important thing in learning is INTEREST. If you are interested in the subject your concentration level is high and with high concentration grasping power increases dramatically and also reading speed.. curiosity is the key in my opinion.
