In terms of good books for getting straight A's, I am also looking for some. If/when I find something, I'll let you know. Right now, I'm reading a book called "What the best college teachers do" and it talks about how the current school system and most profs/teachers encourage "strategic learners". That is, those that learn to play the game vs "deep thinkers", those that rebuild their mental models of the world around what they have learned. Which is an important bit of information for me.
