I have been wondering whether it might have a beneficial effect on acne? My reasoning is that I think that high blood sugar might manifest itself in the eccrine glands and this might encourage the growth of bacteria there.
You can follow my reasoning in more detail on my blog about the effect of diet on acne if you are interested.
I don't suffer from acne myself, so I was wondering if anyone who does has tried the raw diet, and if it affected their skin? I can't find the post at the moment - but I am sure I read at least one account on here of someone who had gone raw and found no beneficial effects on his acne. Is there anyone else who can comment on this? |
Raw food diet should balance all things within your body and you should not have a problem with acne, unless you are overdosing or alergic to one of the raw ingredients you take.
That said, it is also what is going on in your head. Are you stressful? are you going through something painful? Thoughts have a direct impact on the body. It has been proven scientifically over and over again. The pharma industry hides this as it is not in their best interest that this is revealed.
