This isn't too relevant to the thread itself, but I just made up a little something:
A pessimist is someone who thinks the body is a prison for the soul; an optimist is someone who thinks the soul empowers the body.
And if you're Shang Tsung (ref: Mortal Kombat), then you're both an optimist and a pessimist.
