7.5 hours is absoluetly enough. There are studies that show that more than that isn't healthy at all. My current sleep is from 0 to 4 during the night and 6 to 7 in the evenings. I feel absolutely rested and couldn't tell the difference to earlier days when I used to sleep up to 9 hours, especially on weekends. Well, actually I feel a lot more rested now. The only problem is that I tend to slip for - lets say social reasons. It's a lot easier to get out of an empty bed in the morning than if there's someone else next to you
