My knowledge of plyometrics is limited, I studied it slightly in college, but I've slept since then so I've forgotten almost everything.
But I know that moving your legs back and forth doesn't qualify as plyometrics
I used plyometrics for my college basketball training too, we used to do high intensity.
And I would have guessed that was the best way also because your probably trying to increase your power and high intensity is the best way to do this with weight lifting, so it would probably be the same with this.
Plyometrics worked great for me, I recommend it to anyone looking to increase their power. This post is making me want to start again.
