My grandma says praying to St Anthony can find lost objects...so there MUST be something to it.
I think its highly unlikely that sleeping in an particular direction is beneficial, its based on te same flawed logic that Muslims use when they say they have to pray to Mecca...well...direction doesn't matter. Same with sleep.
However if someone can find empirical evidence that the magnetic field of the earth CAN affect ones brain (but why shouldn't it afect the brain at any direction you sleep?) then I will agree, there is something to it.
