In My experience I tend to want to be a team player. Being a couple means giving your PARTNER a fair shake and not being domineering over them by forcing your will upon them. What ever happened to live and let live.... Seems that would be the most important rule in a mutually beneficial relationship. The idea of protecting your mate is different than dominating. Thats my take...
