Fruit should be mostly avoided as it has lots of sugar. If you must, stick to low gyclemic fruits such as blueberries and other berries. Blueberries are the most healthy fruit out there, the highest concentration of antioxidants. 1/2 a cup to a cup is the most I'd recommend, slowly weaning yourself to 1/2 a cup.
Artificial sweeteners are bad too. I'd still recommend Stevia as it's all natural.
