I stopped eating sugar and drinking milk for about two months- my acne cleared and my energy levels lifted, not to mention my moods balanced.
I started just by simply refusing to eat anything srtaight sugar. If I had a craving I would curb it by half an apple or orange. I lost more wieght though- too much and now I am going sugarless again but eating more wholegrain carbs to keep some weight on still.
I still eat sugar on my porridge but not much. You will find that your cravings go away and your taste changes also. And I do use milk but only as a part of breakfast not drinking at all.
