Pressups, with your arms wide apart will build your chest
Hands behind your back and pulling your torso up will work your back muscles.
Try to keep it balanced, e.g. 3/4 days per week training
1 Day gym
1 Day run (or run/walk/run etc. if req)
2 Days Pressups/situps/backs/burpees etc
