I don't know the whole story, admittedly. I just know what I've seen on TV about the case & have read online. The mind-control video of Anna wearing clown makeup and acting like a completely different personality at the hands of Howard, while he just laughs and sends her commands is quite appalling.
Also the fact that Howard gave Anna & her son Daniel the drugs/meds they were on, makes him an "enabler". I think in a court of law it would come down to intent, in a case like this, and from my standpoint Howard's looks to be of a criminal nature.
