Im starting collage soon, and i was thinking would it be posible to live by myself. I would really like to move out soon. so yeah..
in the uk you get Education maintenance allowance witch is £30 a week. also you only go to collage 4 days a week, witch would give me time to have a job for 2 days a week. I should easily be able to get a job for like £6 an hour for a cupple of days a week somwhere. say 8 hours a day that would be £96. so thats £504 a month, however my plan would be to share a flat with somone else in the same situation as me bringing are joint income to £1008 a month. I worked out it will cost about £600 a month to rent somwhere inclusive of bills. We get practicly free tranceport in collage aswell. So there wil be plenty of spare money. each week for food.
this kind of seems too simple to me. Is there somthing im forgetting that flaws this idea? Im just surprised that it would be posible for students to live bythemselves without getting into debt.
PS. Im probably not going to actuly do this its just a thought and im just wondering if its posible.
