Angela, oh you bet some of the deceased people hang around seeking justice. First of all, if there is someone in their life who is still in danger they will want to warn and help the person before they are hurt too. Secondly, remember there are varying levels of crossing over, and some spirits are very attached to their earthly existence. We're not talking about the 90 year old grandmother who dies peacefully in her sleep; usually this is murder, accident, and sometimes suicide.
Also, you've got the creation karmic debt. Sometimes the dead person doesn't want to have to "work it out" in the next life with their murderer. Better justice should be done in the life in which it occured.
On the other hand, I'm sure there are spirits out there who are murdered and can forgive easily, let go, cross over, and move on without waiting to see human justice.
