Wow, I never heard any of that before. It seemed like most places I've found claim nothing but health benefits from soy. And I've never heard that tofu is bad for you.
I just did some quick searching online and found this page which lists the concerns:
WHFoods: Are there special concerns related to soy foods?
It mentions the genetic engineering and apparently poor preparation practices. However, it does mention that whole, traditionally prepared soy beans are still healthy. So I guess I now have one more thing to be careful of. Thanks for the info!
