Another alternative is to play a game where no one is likely to win at all. Dungeonquest is a game where it's everyone against the game as well as eachother, with a 15% chance of anyone making it out alive. It really teaches you that no one wins every time, and it's really fun to try again and again. I also recommend getting as old version as possible, it's more fun with more unfairness in this game. It's somewhat similar to the old computer game NetHack. I've not even gotten halfway through this game despite hundreds of tries. It's incredibly unfair but packed with weirdness and funny so the experience is most of the time enjoyable. NetHack - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
