My guess would be that you wouldn't be geting the nutrients that were in the pulp (unless you are 'juicing' with a VitaMix, which liquifies the entire fruit). Also, fruit juices are extremely concentrated, compared to fruit, so it is hard to do portion control. One tall glass of OJ has the same amount of calories as several oranges.
