Steve, just fyi, there's a "twitter tools" plugin for wordpress that you might be interested in.
Basically, you can show "what you're doing" (twitter updates) in your sidebar. It also lets you update your twitter directly from your sidebar on stevepavlina.com. The update twitter part is only visible to an admin logged in to wordpress.
