Indeed. It's the perfect cop-out!
But all semi-kidding aside, there are some concepts that are just impossible for me to imagine, like the idea that there has never been a beginning, you have always existed. It's easy to imagine eternity in the "have no end" directino, but not the other. Almost as hard is it to imagine that there has been a beginning, and there was nothing prior to that.
I like the idea of experiencing instead of just accepting something as fact. It's very Zen
