Default Help with E-mail Auto Responder

Hi. I'm trying to limit my e-mail checking to once a day for 1 hour.

I use Yahoo! Mail. Is there a (hopefully free) service that allows you to send an autorespond message to each mail sender once, to tell them about your new e-mail checking policy?

I feel that I need to train other people to call me if they have something time sensitive to tell me.

Or should I just let "bad" things happen until they get it?

Edit - I just inserted the following in my e-mail signature:

"E-mail Checking Policy: Due to an increase in project load, I am currently responding to email once a day around 4 p.m. or so, weekdays only. If you need to reach me regarding a time-sensitive matter, feel free to give me a call."
