Heh, had that happen to me once. I wanted a PDA quite badly and ended up deceiving my mother to get it. Though once I did, the excitement faded away almost instantly and I never really used it for anything.
Right now I'm saving up for a new laptop though, and I'm worried that the same might happen and I'll just realize that it was another impulsive buy.
