We start off on the low end of the spectrum (very dim light) as very low vibing creatures (rapist, murderers, robbers).
Each lifetime we grow from our experience and our light increases just a little bit. We only gain a little bit more light inside of our consciousness because too much light would cause us to burn out (like sticking a 12 v battery into a 6 volt socket)
Our higher selves understand that too much light and we would burn out so they create barriers to protect us from going to high too quick. So a person who has less light wouldn't be able to read any of the higher vibing stuff out there because it would be too much light for them to handle. The higher self knows this and blocks them from reading Tolle, Steve P. or any other self help/spiritual stuff out there because they aren't ready for it at that moment.
At the same time, why people are on this site and posting on this forum is because you are at a certain vibration/consciousness level while others would say this is all b.s and refuse to even read it.
I draw this from my experience with other people but in my own experience. There have been books that I took a look at and out and out refused to read. I thought they were stupid and a waste of my time. After going through a bunch of experiences and raising my consciousness a lot I was finally ready to take another look. When that happened I read/listened/watched those things with ease and no resistance what so ever. |
