Personal Development for Smart People Forums - View Single Post - My husband is negative about personal development

My husband Wont watch any programs that are to do with growth he is so negative like "Oh whats this about, a guy thats trying to make money off you by telling you how to get what you want just from thinking about it" Its almost as he is scared of personal development. He doesn't have a good work ethic he doesn't know what he wants to do, and doesn't keep with anything that he starts, Although he wont ask for help. I love him but he is so negative. Has anyone else had a similar problem and how did you deal with it? Thanks
