An old pattern again. Yes, you have reasons for this, but you take things too seriously. Relax. Let yourself go. Don't be too involved, and the universe will do the rest.
Now some practical brainstorm advice:
- join your local Toastmasters club
- make sure you're not the only sober person at pub
- define some "daily talk quota" and go do it no matter what
- show up often, even if you stay silent... eventually someone will talk to you
- speak loudly alone, read poems, sing songs
