Yeah, Steve's tall, and Erin's really tall, too. They towered over me, and I've always felt pretty tall. They're like some super-amazon race all their own. I am afraid to meet their kids.
You know, really, though, Steve in person is just like he is in his writing. You would recognize his "voice" -- he talks like he writes. Erin, too, except that she has a little 3-second warning in her speech that you don't hear in her writing -- she sort of turns her head up a little as she considers what she's going to say and then comes out with it. She's also very relatable, like seeing your best pal from high school and the connection is still there. Steve, to me, felt slightly more ... what's the word.... alien!
Nahhh, what I mean is: he seems like his thought processes are more, oh, science, analytical, battlestar gallactica, left-brain than mine.
I wasn't quite myself the day I met them, though, so my perspective may have been a little skewed.
