Being a foreigner, I have problems understanding all these subtleties about your math courses. But having studied mathematics myself, I am *very* suspicious about things that are "mathematically impossible"
. (Provided they are *really* mathematically impossible and not only 'improbable'!)
I suggest that you form an intention like: "By the end of next week or before I will have an inspiration that shows me what path is best for me. When the inspiration comes, I will have a feeling of intense joy and absolute *certainty* that it is the best way for me." Choose your own words, something along those lines perhaps.
