My first lucid dream was when I was a little kid and can't remember what happened. My most recent lucid dream (half lucid actually) was about a year ago when I was really into dream interpretation. In the dream I was in this dodgy old house. At some point the dream itself (or my dreaming mind, or something like that?) appeared in the dream as a middle aged woman, and she was basically explaining how dreams worked and how to interpret them! One thing I remember was a piece of paper with some highly convoluted way of explaining something, full of long complicated words which was an example of what a dream might be about, then another piece of paper with a much more concise and straight forward explanation of the same thing the "complicated paper" was all about which represented how that thing would be explained in a dream. Upon waking I was in a state of awe, but I'd run out of paper and had nothing to write it down on!!! I was aware of this before I fell asleep too. Bummer
I've since stopped trying to write down and interpret my dreams, but reading all this has gotten me pretty motivated to pick it up again!
