Hi laceyjade,

I saw two things in your first post :

-The facts : you're having premonition dreams and you feel things (I am not saying if they are true or not here, just stating the fact that you see those things)

-Your emotional reaction to these facts : "I'm about to cry", "am I crazy or what".

I agree with Erin that the answers seem directed at the emotional reaction.

People (inlcluding me) tend to take more seriously the psychics who have a down to earth approach and who are not to much emotional about paranormal things. But of course, if you have hardly ever spoken about that before, it may be normal to freak out a little.
