no no no.
ok. so while i do suggest ok go get a physical and let them know in general what you're feeling..
if you've had such vivid dreams.. chances are you are NOT schizophrenic. I grew up thinking I was potentially schizophrenic because it wasn't 'normal'. luckily i told my doctor things and he said he didn't think i was schizophrenic.
Being able to sense that much about people has nothing to do with schizophrenia. It is absolutely harmful for you to start thinking that things like ghosts and spirits do not exist because it is harmful to close yourself off from your spiritual side.
if they do send you to a psychotherapist make sure its a GOOD one. by that i mean.. make sure that they're right for you.. that they are spiritual. atheist psychotherapists will tell you you are just thinking 'magical thought' and completely lead you to feel as if this world is the ultimate reality. This is not true and you feel it. Do not go against how you feel.
I've gone through a nervous breakdown -- it was hell.. but I definitely did not because of feeling the things I do.. it was due to the fact that I closed myself down from my spiritual side and I could not deal with this world as being 'absolute reality'
people may say 'oh you're weak for 'needing' this other world to exist' but you are not. again. you have felt these things your whole life. you are not necessarily about to go schizophrenic.
i'm not dismissing the possibility because i don't know you and this is a forum, but i do have my own experience thinking i might have been schizophrenic because of my abilities and experiences. do go get checked, but also ask to be 'awakened' not to someone else but to your spirit guide.. read up on erin's blog and see if you can relate.you don't have to agree with everything but it may help you recognize other things. also explore the forum more to past postings for other things as well.
a book that helped me realize i was in the wrong direction was 'memories, dreams and reflections' by c.g. jung.
peace.
