I would agree with you if and only if (1) plants didn't naturally propagate themselves to other locations (e.g. the fields of people who DIDN'T buy Monsanto seeds and do not want them AND (2) Monsanto was not able to collect "damages" from people whose fields are
contaminated by Monsanto seeds.
