While some of these things could be symptoms of schizophrenia, they could also be related to heightened "spiritual" or energetic sensitivity.

The only problem with seeing a doctor is that a psychiatrist will ALWAYS interpret these things as indications of mental illness, requiring medical treatment; their world-view doesn't include "heightened perceptions" or "paranormal" sensitivity, and therefore anything of this nature is considered pathological.

Most people who claim to receive messages or talk to disembodied spirits probably ARE suffering from schizophrenia, but not all of them are. The fact that your vivid dreams actually come true would make me think that you aren't suffering from any type of mental illness.

I, however, am not an expert. I am neither a psychiatrist, nor a psychic, so I'm afraid I can't help you much.

If it were me, I'd want to get in touch with someone who'd gone through similar experiences, but I might tend to avoid some of the overly "woo woo" psychics.

(I enjoy reading Erin's posts because she writes about weird, "out there" things in a down-to-earth kind of way, whereas some other psychics come across spaced out and dreamy, like they're tripping on acid 24/7.)
