Might be doable, but hacking will be involved. You could try searching for a plugin that handles this.
Oh, wait! You could also use the "static" homepage option and then make that static homepage retrieve the last post and display it in full.
The downside there is that, technically, your newest post will always have two urls (
www.magicalchest.com and
www.magicalchest.com/post/permalink). That's bad SEO!
