This is true. I used to do this for painting sessions. Sleep dep. painting sessions always turn out successful.

The blood sugar dropping is true too.

It really affects your thought process. As in, you can't really have one anymore... You need to have A LOT of free time on your hands to not sleep or eat for a few days, and it probably isn't the healthiest way to go.

From experience, I would recommend not using drugs. Not that I haven't had important experiences that I am grateful for as a result of drug-induced states, but I feel now that I was extremely unprepared to put myself in such a vulnerable situations. Naturally inducing the same feelings is a much better way to go. It may be a slower route, but more effective on the long run. Start meditating.
