Hi everyone...
Since I started all this stuff, I'll try to give a quicker description of his basic process mentioned in the lessons and email.
He makes a difference between easier goals and harder goals which, according to him require the more detailed advanced method to achieve.. Goals considered "impossible" requires the more detailed method...
Over time, this is how I learned how to interpret his basic process;
Create a goal you want to achieve. Make it something you really want, don't hold back. Write a description of that goal, the way you want. Here's an example, if you were a little on the large side and want to lose weight: ' I lost 25 pounds, I have such a sexy figure now. I'm getting so much positive attention. I get attention every time I go out now. I feel lighter and healthier than ever. I love my 28 inch waste. Everytime I look in the mirror I feel sexyyyy!'
Then reread the statement and pick out anything that gives you a doubtful, hesitant, skeptical feeling. Underline those words or statements.
For example in this case, ' I lost 25 pounds, I have such a sexy figure now. I'm getting so much positive attention. . I get attention every time I go out now. I feel lighter and healthier than ever. I love my 28 inch waste. Everytime I look in the mirror I feel sexyyyy!'
Rewrite it again in another positve way, so that the feeling disappears, yet the level of positve feeling of the story remains; ' I lost 25 pounds, I have such a sexy figure now. I love getting so much positive attention. I get attention every time I go out now. I feel lighter and healthier than ever. I love my 28 inch waste. "I love feeling sexy whenever I look in the mirror"!
Thank you, Arboretor for this one; I got this idea from your suggestion on using certain affirmations in a better way.
At this point, this description should make you feel happy and motivated each time you read it. And, there should be very little distracting 'mind chatter' when you think about this goal. That signifies that your mind is in harmony with the goal is most likely ready to go about achieving it for you.
Also, if you had any past successes with losing weight that felt good, or lfeeling good looking in the mirror, then taking facts from that experience and inserting them into your description will supposedly increase the power of the description, and has a great impact on the subconcious mind, causing it to do things to bring it about.
A nice, happy past success you had carries a positive motivation and mental energy with it. So his technique (or the more advanced one) infuses the power of a past success into a current goal, and then along with repetition stimulates your subconcious to attract that goal or automatically take the direct steps to to achieve it... (whew... )
Imagine this description along with the positive motivated feeling it brings you.
You then write this properly constructed goal repeatedly 100 times every day until it happens, (like the testimonial of the person selling the car) while watching for feedback from your feelings, the circumstances so you can adjust things if necessary. I also suggest reading it a number times as you drift off to sleep each night.
You can adapt the method for your own individual goal, so for rockchick it would be like - ' I am together with a very handsome man that I feel is perfect for me. He is very neat and clean. I love his muscular figure. He has a wonderful patient, personality. He even takes out the trash on rainy days for me when I snap my fingers' ....just kidding....
And as for dates, you adjust the description slightly to allow for achieving something by a certain date.
' By this October 2008, I will have already lost 25 pounds. I love my new 28 inch waist....' ect...
This is where the book is supposed to come in, as it describes in detail how to transfer a past success into a current one and setting dates, how to handle a 'blockage' and it also has a certain visualization process to it..
I hope that explains his basic process because this is too much typing, lol....
..take care everyone, have a nice day.....
