Habits often have an emotional/physical component. Emotions are just thoughts expressed in the body and when you think some thoughts over and over they will eventually develop an emotional component. So you can look at your body for change. Look at what could be improved. Be loving and forgiving about it. You can change your emotional state by simply changing your posture and releasing the body tension.
