I'd give the relationship a chance. It seems to be what you want most.
Regarding the lowering of vibrations, there's always the possability of moving away if it doesn't work out. Besides if every high vibration person only associated with their own kind, what would happen to "lower vibration" people?
He doesn't sound like that anyhow.
