Another section of the population (like me) eats take-out Chinese everyday and tons of ice cream and chocolate - and has flawless skin. Everyone knows someone who eats whatever and still has gorgeous skin. Putting all your eggs into the raw food basket therefore undermines the sites' credibility. Acne.org is one of the most popular and reliable sites I know of for those who suffer from acne. The messageboards encourage discussion of lots of different types of treatment. It also has a wide range of people who have tried different methods with varying degrees of success.
Instead of promising that raw foods is THE cure for acne (which it is not), it would be better if you offered it as a possible solution for those who have unsuccessfully tried traditional methods. |
Agreed. I eat extremely healthy and still have acne. I've been on the acne.org regimen for awhile now and the results have been fantastic.
