This will be a bit off-topic, but I'm eager to share my thoughts about poker.
Well, the first impression was really brilliant. It was really funny and entertaining to play. My last post was written while I was still under that impression. Now I'm experiencing a little burnout, and my eyes are hurt.
So, the second impression... It's a hard work! (is anyone surprised, hihi?) It's like fishing. You wait for the "right moment" patiently. And it can take lots of time. And then you strike, only to realize that there's another "fisherman" who has better cards...
Lessons learned:
1) Poker requires patience
2) Poker requires discipline
3) Poker requires emotion control
I do not qualify.... at least, not yet. It's too boring and monotonous. I don't enjoy it anymore (after 2 days of hardcore playing, 16 hrs total), so I'll take a break to re-consider my perspectives.
