I used to listen to skeptics too.

Now I prefer to try these things myself. Philosophy classes I attended a few years ago made the point that we can only speak from our own experience. It protects the discussion from opinions and isms. Having tried it myself, I thought it was a good idea.
So balance the discussion, has anyone trying them found the natural methods to NOT work?
