I had that happen once. I was sleeping late one morning and could have sworn I heard my daughter come home from school and put a tv on. It was like 9 or 10 am and definitely no reason why she would have, but I thought I was awake and heard her. When I tried to turn or get up or something, I realized I was paralyzed. Somehow, I managed to force my body to turn itself over, and that woke me up for real.

I sat up and listened in the house to hear if anyone was actually home, but it was all quiet as it should have been! Was really weird. Hasn't happened before or since...not that I remember.
