Default Beyond Religion - Podcast 013

Ghandi once said:” We can not do well in one aspect of life; while trying to do bad in another part of your life. Life is one indivisible whole."

I wonder how Steve feels about his "software" on diet. Can he live in his Vegan world, then double click on a fast food program and enjoy it? I don't think so.

As for his multi-dimensional approach to religion, I think he's spot on, IF, he is able to glean from each program. I think a better POV of what Steve is trying to say is that he has a Hybrid view of religion. If not, then there is a word for that: Hypocrisy.

All resources of the supernatural that come from God, or "Source Energy” have been given for our personal use, guidance and creation.

Religion is the result of Man's interpretation of these resources. Whether it be Jerry and Esther's channeling of Abraham, or the Pope. The processing of anything that comes from the Ether thru man should be taken as such.

Stephen Covey talks about "Universal principals". He claims they're not in some religions, they're in ALL religions. I've never been in search of a religion but rather in search for Truth. So much of the new age movement is just modern man's search for truth with the least amount of guilt and commitment. On the other hand, Catholicism lives and thrives on guilt and pain. "Du trabajo estu castigo" (your work is your punishment for Adam's sin)
(I apologize for the Spanish grammar) I believe both are flawed paradigms.

I believe the translations of early Hebrew and Greek writings to be flawless. On the other hand, the existence of 34,000 different Christian denominations means that the interpretation of the language is nothing but full of flaws. I'm not saying that we should have a "smorgas board" approach to the way we worship; I'm saying that we need to have open minds in observing truths from the very first writings to our modern day prophecies.

We are all personally responsible for our non-physical entities. Religion (which I believe to be an outdated word) is the realm or "software" that deals with this aspect of your life. I actually prefer the term Spirituality. And spirituality is not just the awareness of your dualistic existence. Religion is the marketing buzz word for spiritual enlightenment.

I believe you have spirituality software running through your system but I disagree that it has to be either a Catholic version or an Atheist version or any of the 34,000 versions of Christianity. The term "Personal relationship" with God means it's your version. But truth is truth. It's not truth for one person and not for another. Let truth be the main indicator that directs your spiritual enlightenment. Not feelings, emotions or social acceptance.

We shouldn't alter truth to fit our lifestyles. We must altar our lifestyles to be congruent with our perceived truth.
