Thanks again. I received the invitation to begin the procedure to become a guide several hours after I applied.
The problem is, I couldn't agree to the terms of service. I can't stand the idea of giving away total intellectual property rights to anything I write (unless I'm placing my stuff into the public domain, which is something I enjoy doing).
So, I'm guessing that means if I chose to share anything I wrote for Chacha on my own site, I would be committing copyright infringement - by sharing something I myself wrote.
This part of the TOS is particularly nasty:

I just can't agree to that. I value my intellectual property rights and freedom to use anything I write any way I please a lot more than 20 cents per answer.
